Why EOLDE?
ELODE, a cost-effective electro-osmosis dehydrator designed to compensate the deficiency of conventional dehydrators and high cost thermal dryers.

Conventional dehydrators simply do not dehydrate sludge efficiently by application of mechanical force, which can only extract the free water contained in the liquid sludge. In order to improve the dehydration ratio, large amount of coagulation and flocculation polymers are frequently added. However, it still contained relatively high absorbed water content which is firmly bond to the dry solid. Therefore, further dehydration by ELODE immediately after dehydration of sludge cakes from conventional dehydrators will significantly improve dryness of final sludge cake (from 80wt%-86wt% to 40wt%-70wt%).

Thermal drying is a typical process to improve the sludge dryness after the conventional dehydrators. However, thermal dryer has a very high capital and operating cost in terms of energy consumption. ELODE can effectively improve the dryness with much lower operating cost, approximately 70% to 90% of energy saving.
